　　The Paradox between Gun Control and Law

　　Compared with long-barreled firearms, pistols are more secretive, which is beneficial for gunmen to engage in large-scale shooting by surprise, and is also very suitable for suicide. Therefore, the city government of Washington, the capital of the United States, once attempted to completely ban the possession of pistols.
